The Historic Chaltu Speeks Out

Let me paint you the picture of what happened in ATL yesterday. Me and Riyad S abona walking, minding our own business and we see an anti-Jawar protest happening 200 yards away from the meeting entrance. The police directed us to walk in closer to the side of the protest to avoid obstructing traffic.  So we saw their flags and I decided to take out my Oromo flag and walk.  First, it was just the slurs, calling me Galla. Then it was the spit, in front and behind me and then one made it with the perfect aim to hit my cheek. I continued to walk with my head high with the utmost respect until one 'balance' thought it would be okay to reach over and snatch my flag. He thought he got the flag, but I killed that dream, but as soon as he reached again and grabbed my hijab, I turned around and his face hit the back of my hand (like how words can change everything?).
